For over 11 years he was the Chief Economist at ANZ.  He has also worked as an economist at the National Bank, Treasury and Statistics New Zealand. – He as well runs another business called Chaperon, which helps businesses navigating banking, and sees a lot of the real-time financial issues through that ‘hat’.
